FAQ:
Q: Are you really getting married on Halloween? Do I have to wear a costume?
A: Yes, It's our favorite holiday! However, we want our bridal wear to be the focus of this fiesta, so we would prefer it if you did not wear a costume. We suggest evening wear, cocktail, or dressy casual.
Q: Are children allowed?
A: We have designated our wedding as "adults only". The only exception we have made is for members of our immediate family and our wedding party.
Q: What is the weather like this time of year?
A: It's California, it could be warm during the day and chilly at night. Bring a layer just in case.
Q: What time should I arrive?
A: The ceremony is scheduled to start at 5:00 pm. Please be aware that Halloween night traffic can often be congested, so please give yourself plenty of time to arrive safe and sound.
Q: Where should guests park? Is parking free?
A: The parking lot is immediately adjacent to the venue and is free of charge.
Q: Does the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?
A: It is an open-air venue. Please see the venue tab for links to photos of the location.
Q: Will food be served at the reception? What kind of food?
A: I think you know the answer to this question... TACOS!!!!!
Q: Can I bring a date, extra people, or my emotional support llama?
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. As much as the bride & groom would love to have every animal present, we are only able to accommodate the "two-legged" variety.
Q: Do the ceremony and reception take place in the same location?
A: Yes. Please see the Venue tab for map links to the venue.
Q: What happens after the ceremony?
A: After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby. Guests can head straight to the reception area where we will be serving appetizers and beverages.
Q: What hotels are nearby?
A: Please see the tab with nearby hotel information.
Q: When is the RSVP deadline?
A: Please RSVP online via the RSVP tab on this website no later than October 1, 2022.
Q: What should I do if I can't make it?
A: You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
Q: Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
A: Yes, we encourage you to post pictures on your social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #vivalosleikers so we can keep track of all of your posts!
Q: May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?
A: The wedding favor at your place setting is yours to keep. The centerpiece is a souvenir for anyone to take home at the conclusion of the wedding. There is only one... so we suggest a friendly game of rock-paper-scissors if others at your table call dibs.
Q: Where are you registered?
A: Please see the registry tab for details about our "Honeymoon Fund". Simply click on the "Our Top Choice" photo and you will be able to submit your gift amount.
